Comments – Spirit of the Red Candle – journal of Mary Magdalene

June 6, 2012

I just received the first comment from Judy Waples on Spirit of the Red Candle. I have said all along, once the book is done, then it will have a life of its own. I trust the work Lin Harris and I did in editing the book, and making it more enjoyable for the reader, has paid off. I look forward to everyone’s comments. I look forward to posting them.

Comments from book

I received my book yesterday afternoon. I started reading it and

couldn’t put it down. I finished it early this morning. It didn’t disappoint, and

wow, the ending really did leave you wanting more of her story. I can’t wait

for the next book.

The ending coming when it did was good. It left you wanting to know more of what would happen to Mary and what she would do with her life. It showed that her heart had really changed with her forgiving wrongs done to her – and doing it at the foot of the cross.

I see more intrigues coming in the next book – with the return of some “villains”,and how her changed life will make a difference.

The Lord did bless you through this and it shows in the book.  So happy for you,   Judy Waples

I didn’t think about it until I was almost finished with the book.

Sketches in book - Spirit of Red Candle, journal of Mary Magdalene

It all started when I painted a watercolor of Mikey. From there, I thought, why not, I’ll paint a painting of Mary Magdalene to put in book. From there it has turned into 38 sketches of all the characters.

This is all honoring the process. I wouldn’t have thought about my art if I would have gone to press 5 months before.

Look at my work station. Wow! I’ve got to clean house when this book is sent off to print.
